Akkato

Privacy policy

Effective September 30, 2026 ยท Last updated September 30, 2026

The short version

Akkato does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

What stays on your device

Your game progress, best scores, settings (such as theme, color palette and sound) and in-progress levels are saved locally on your device so the game can remember them. If you play the web version at akkato.com/play, the same information is saved in your browser, and a copy of the game is kept on your device so it can work offline. This information never leaves your device, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes it.

What we do not collect

Third parties

Akkato contains no advertising and does not use third-party analytics or tracking services. If this changes in a future version, we will update this policy before the change ships.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it loads no fonts, scripts or media from other companies. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record technical information about visits, such as IP addresses, in its server logs. We do not receive or control that data. See GitHub's privacy statement.

The website may link to outside sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. The Akkato app itself does not link to them.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply, we do not share them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Children

Akkato is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
